Mighty, mighty Sharks

Mosman Junior Sharks

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - JOIN A CLUB -

THE Junior Sharks boast fully accredited coaches, first aid officers and referees who are all there to ensure the kids have fun, get fit and spend time with family and friends.

Club president Adam MacDonald said, ‘‘Here at the Sharks, we pride ourselves on our commitment to kids having fun and enjoying the benefits of a team sport. Nothing beats watching a group of kids’ faces light up and high-five each other after a try, or the quick pats on the back when things don’t go to plan.

‘‘That’s what team sport is all about – being there for your team mates and having fun. Here at the Sharks that’s what we do best.’’

This year is full exciting things for the club, with training from QRL and ARL coaches, specialist fitness coaching, come and try days and Pride promotions. The club registration day and the first come and try day will be held on Saturday, February 15, at show grounds from 9- 12am. Each registered player receives a club shirt, shorts, socks, training singlet, team photo and end of year trophy for just $130 and the club is also registered for the ‘‘Get Started’’ grant. So come on down next Saturday, play some footy, share a steak sanga and sign up to the mighty Sharks!
