Spotted: Ferndale crocodile

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

NOT everyone has a crocodile at the foot of their garden, so the residents of the Ferndale Lake Estate in Port Douglas have every reason to be proud or pleased, or both. Or not.

The estate is bordered by Ulysses Street, near the first roundabout on the drive into Port Douglas.

There are crocodile warning signs around the reserve, and they’re warranted. Stories abound of crocs in the lake but it’s not often a sighting has been photographed.
