NAME: Ethan Scott AGE: 8 CLUB: Port Douglas Jnr Crocs Under-8s
How long have you been playing football? This will be my third year playing football for the Crocs and AusKick. Why did you decide to start playing? Because I heard other people talking about it and it sounded like a lot of fun. Plus my dad is the coach. What do you love the most about football? Probably winning. But you get to meet a lot of new people, when you play other teams which is good. What team do you barrack for in the AFL? The Carlton Blues. We live in a Carlton house, everyone in my family barracks for the Blues. Do you have a favourite player? Chris Judd because he is just great and always wins. I even named my hermit crab ‘‘Juddy’’. What is the hardest thing about playing football? Practicing kicking goals. Do you have a favourite team mate? Kalan Poole because we always pass the ball to each other and we have fun together. What position do you play? I am mostly in the centre. I like playing there because you always get to be in the ruck area and in the action. Most memorable moment? Probably when I kicked four goals in the grand final against the Lions last year. We won. Football ambitions? I always want to play football. I want to play for Carlton like Juddy.
