Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

Tropical North Queensland will be among the largest contingent at the 2015 Queensland Tourism Awards in Brisbane on 13 November with 30 nominees from Tropical North Queensland, including 9 from the Douglas Shire! This year TTNQ set up a mentoring program to ensure Tropical North Queensland continues to be the most awarded destination in the State. The award nomination process is a rigorous journey featuring a submission and inspection based program which provides the opportunity to publicly acknowledge and showcase Queensland’s finest tourism operators. Participating in the submission process encourages improved business planning, development and internal analysis and continual product improvement which leads to a better visitor experience. We wish the best of luck to all Port Douglas and Daintree products nominated for the awards.
