MOSS­MAN Golf Club’s Tues­day Court House Ho­tel event was won by Steve War­den with 39 points ahead of Si­mon Weyling 38 and Rick Her­schell 37 on a count-back to John Cameron.

JU­NIORS - The Club is host­ing free Ju­nior clin­ics each Tues­day 5pm – 6pm for young­sters aged 6 – 17 years. De­tails from Ge­off Good­win on 0418 456 901.

Wed­nes­day’s nine hole sta­ble­ford event was won by Bob Lay­butt with 19 points (back to back wins) with run­ner-up Steve Leak 18 on a count-back to Lucy Giles.

NTP – John Cameron.

Thurs­day’s Ladies event was won by Kerri-Lynn Wil­liams with 39 points ahead of El­iz­a­beth Green 33.

NTP’s – Kerri-Lynn Wil­liams on 8 & 10.

Fri­day’s nine hole Moss­man Butcher­ing Steak Bash was won by John Cameron with 22 points.

NTP’s – Dan Coulthard and Mick Lan­caster.

The Tro­phy Pre­sen­ta­tion Din­ner was very well at­tended, with ev­ery­one en­joy­ing a won­der­ful meal with ex­per­tise on the bar­beque dis­played by Ge­off Good­win and Steve Gray, and beau­ti­ful sal­ads from Temp­ta­tions.

Many thanks to Sylvia Good­win and Dixie Den­nis who sup­plied a mag­nif­i­cent va­ri­ety of sweets.

Club Cap­tain John Car­ney an­nounced Match­play win­ners – A Grade Dan Coulthard, B Grade Leon Baker and C Grade Steve War­den.

John thanked the sup­port from Bernie Boon who co-or­di­nated the tro­phies and has as­sisted in many ways, and other mem­bers who have as­sisted dur­ing the year.

Pres­i­dent Ge­off Good­win thanked all those present for their sup­port, and the gen­eros­ity of spon­sors, thanks to Lisa Smith, the Pro shop and bar staff for en­sur­ing mem­bers and vis­i­tors are looked af­ter. Ge­off also con­grat­u­lated Matty Coulthard and Dan Coulthard on their great work to en­sure the course was al­ways pre­sented in the best pos­si­ble con­di­tion, and the vol­un­teers who as­sist on the course and with the club in gen­eral and the com­mit­tee mem­bers.

Spe­cial thanks to Wil­son Chris­tensen for his on­go­ing sup­port.

Ladies Cap­tain Shirley Car­ney an­nounced that Glenda Chris­tensen was Ladies Match­play win­ner.

Shirley thanked the sup­port from mem­bers and es­pe­cially the as­sis­tance of Rachael Byrne with the Ju­niors.

Satur­day’s sta­ble­ford event was won by Norm Lock­wood with 38 points on a count-back to Dave Heron and in 3rd place Bruce Cheesman 36.

NTP’s – Norm Lock­wood, Char­lie Kadic on 8 and 17, Wade Dun­can and Bren­don Wood.

The Ladies event was won by Judy McCor­mack with 35 points on a count-back to Bette Wells.

NTP’s – Glenda Chris­tensen on 6 & 13, Jenny Row­ell and Judy McCor­mack.

JU­NIOR CHAM­PI­ONSHIPS Wed­nes­day 21 Oc­to­ber (first round)

9 Hole event was won by Nick Sco­maz­zon with nett 37.

NTP – Kale War­den. Tie for least putts Claire Deu­ble and Wade Dun­can.

Mod­i­fied event was won by Chel­cee Gee 32, r/up Mikaela Fis­cher 33.

NTP – Caleb Dwyer. Least putts Chelsea McKay.

Wed­nes­day 28th Oc­to­ber (sec­ond round).

The nine hole event was won by Wade Dun­can with nett 33 on c/back to Couper Smith.

NTP – Wade Dun­can. Least putts Couper Smith.

Mod­i­fied event was won by Chelsea McKay 30, r/up Kian Byrne 31.

NTP – Caleb Dwyer. Least putts El­lie McKay.

The whole club wishes good luck to all the Ju­nior play­ers par­tic­i­pat­ing in the fi­nal round of the Cham­pi­onships on Novem­ber 11.
