Hon­our for John Anich

A Moss­man phar­ma­cist’s ded­i­ca­tion to his work and com­mu­nity has earned him life mem­ber­ship to the Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal So­ci­ety of Aus­tralia. John Anich was pre­sented with the Life­time Achieve­ment Award at the PSA Queens­land Branch Pres­i­dent’s Din­ner and Awards Night in Bris­bane, recog­nis­ing his 50 years’ con­tin­u­ous ser­vice to the so­ci­ety. Mr Anich opened John Anich’s Phar­macy in Moss­man af­ter grad­u­at­ing in 1964 and con­tin­ued to grow the busi­ness un­til sell­ing in 1997. He con­tin­ued to work for the new owner for a num­ber of years and has been an ac­tive mem­ber of the com­mu­nity, is a mem­ber of the Ro­tary Club of Moss­man and serves on the Moss­man Botanic Gar­dens board. “John is clearly an ac­tive contributor to his com­mu­nity, which re­ally en­shrines the val­ues of the Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal So­ci­ety,” said PSA Queens­land branch pres­i­dent Bruce El­liot.
