His favourite was Quail cooked the tra­di­tional way. His friend didn’t have a clue when he turned up with it to be cooked, and ex­pla­na­tions en­sued… so the tale of the quail is a whale of a tale, the long drawn out story could slowly pale, I’ll do it like chicken, tie it like a bale, do veges and spuds with just a lit­tle kale, You do it prop­erly my friend or you’ll get a kick in the tail….. hope they en­joyed din­ner.
