DEBBIE CAN’T WIN AT ALL

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - FRONT PAGE -

Debbie the Soccer Mum has had a hell of a week. First, her oven broke. Then as she was doing the daily dash to school her car decided it had had enough of Debbie’s antics and followed the ovens lead. Debbie could have sworn the two were in cahoots. No matter how much she yelled at her RACQ rescuer, her mechanic or her husband the car wouldn’t start. After almost a week the car was returned. The mechanic muttered some sentiment resembling “as good as new” and got out of the firing line quicksmart. One day back in the folds of Debbie and the car was done for good. Coconut is still aghast. What’s a soccer mum without her kiddie mover!? Then, just yesterday coconut received word, Debbie nearly set the house on fire making sausages for the brood. “I’m going to take up the catholic faith, then I won’t have to work ever again,” said Debbie at her wits end. She was none too pleased when Coconut pointed out she was just in time
