Queensland will go to the polls on March 19 to decide on whether there should be three or four year state government terms – and the money is saying it’ll remain three year terms. Despite online bookmaker sports having the referendum at odds of $1.75 to pass (four year terms), a massive 72 per cent of the punters money is backing the referendum to fail. That fail price was originally offered at $2.50 but has since been backed into $2 with Sportsbet. “The polling and our odds may say it’s going to be a close call but the punters certainly think it’s an overwhelming fail for the Government,’’ said sports’s Will Byrne.
