Thanks to council for Cow Bay Anzac Day
On behalf of the Cow Bay ANZAC Day Committee (CBADC) and members of the Cape Kimberley, Cow Bay, Dirwan and Cape Tribulation community, may we express our sincere and heartfelt thanks for the excellent assistance shown by the Douglas Shire Council in what was a successful ANZAC Day dawn service held at the Cow Bay Cenotaph.
Special mention to Natalie Crimmins (CEO Unit – Research & Project Officer) who was very helpful in assisting the CBADC President with programs, prints from the “Diggers of Douglas” and administrative assistance.
May I also express all of our thanks for the generous offer of the DSC to continue the ANZAC Centenary tradition by supplying a hearty breakfast for 158+ persons who attended the Dawn Service. It was a blustery cool morning at Cow Bay and a hot breakfast following the Dawn Service was just the ‘ticket’ and was well received by everyone who attended the service.
Once again, please accept our gratitude and thanks. We look forward to working with the DSC for future ANZAC Day celebrations.
