FOUR mem­bers and a vis­i­tor from Italy shot Double 500 me­tres on Satur­day af­ter­noon at the Moss­man and District Ri­fle Range.

Shoot­ing con­di­tions were near per­fect, with just a slight mi­rage from the right.

In the Full bore Tar­get di­vi­sion Rick Mis­chlewski nearly scored a pos­si­ble but hung on too long with a shot that re­sulted in an in­ner four in­stead of a bulls eye.

His first round score of 50.3 and sec­ond round score of 54.7 made a to­tal score of 104.10 from a pos­si­ble 105.

Neil Attwood was next with his first round score of 47.3 and a sec­ond round score of 53.2, for a to­tal of 100.5 from a pos­si­ble 105.

Grant Mor­ris im­proved on last week with some sling ad­just­ments and scored 42.1 and 51.4 re­spec­tively, for 93.5 from a pos­si­ble of 105.

Nor­bert Sch­midt shoot­ing F class shot a first round score of 56.2 from 60 and dropped 2 points sec­ond round once again due to car­tridge prob­lems, scor­ing 64.4 for a to­tal score of 120.6 from a to­tal of 126

A young vis­i­tor from Italy came along to try his hand at full bore tar­get shoot­ing and for a first at­tempt did very well.

Ric­cardo Vercoglio achieved a first round score of 33 and 37 sec­ond round to­tal of 70 of a pos­si­ble 100 (2x 10 shot ) matches.

Ron Schild was on marker du­ties for the day.
