The project is being led by local artist Lenice Schonenberger with the assistance of Dan ‘Wally’ Wallwork, Lester Port and Kerrod Hart. “It is looking really good and when it’s finished it should be great,” Lester said.

The full story of the painting will be told when the project is completed, but the theme is very much focused on the local environment.

Council has plans for public art at Willie Pye Teamsters Memorial Park, Craiglie and Bill Reese Rotary Park.
