Mocka’s bakes up medals in Sydney
PORT Douglas institution Mocka’s Pies has done it again, picking up a raft of awards at Australia’s Best Pie and Pastie Competition in Sydney. Owner Nigel Quinn, in Sydney for the awards, proudly informed the Gazette that Mocka’s had won the following awards for its pies and pasties: GOLD - Pumpkin, Spinach & Feta Pie SILVER - Traditional Pastie SILVER – Gourmet Pastie (Chicken & Leek)
SILVER - Vegetarian Pastie (Red Curry Veg)
SILVER - Sri Lankan Curry Beef Pie
SILVER - Seafood Pie (Barramundi, Scallops & Prawns)
SILVER - Crocodile Laksa Pie
BRONZE - Chunky Beef Pie.
