RSL prepares to commemorate Vietnam Day
AUGUST 18 is Vietnam Veterans’ Day and also this year the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan, which was fought on August 18, 1966.
The battle involved 105 Australians with the loss of 17 killed and 25 wounded.
Let us all pay tribute to all vietnam veterans and honour one of our own, J. Barrett, who paid the supreme sacrifice during the Vietnam War.
