Kid-porn case adjourned
PORT Douglas man Alexander Schultz, who is charged with a string of child-pornography offences, has had his case adjourned a further six weeks until September 28.
Schultz did not appear before the Mossman Magistrates Court yesterday, and his defence requested the adjournment via teleconference.
Schultz was allegedly in possession of more than 8400 images and videos when detectives raided a Port Douglas home in June, where he was taken into custody.
Among drug charges, Schultz faced charges of possession of observations or recordings in breach of privacy and possessing child exploitation material.
Schultz remains remanded in custody.
