Moss­man Mill had its high­est through­put for the year with 45,642 tonnes of cane pro­cessed for the week at an av­er­age crush­ing rate of 339 t/hr. Plant avail­abil­ity was af­fected dur­ing the week by milling train me­chan­i­cal fail­ures and some Boiler Sta­tion op­er­a­tional is­sues. Con­den­sate in the clar­i­fi­ca­tion process con­trol switch­room caused some pro­ces­sor fail­ures that had to be changed out. The Eva­po­ra­tor Sta­tion per­for­mance also be­came rate lim­it­ing to­wards the end of the week as the next clean­ing cy­cle ap­proaches. Sugar qual­ity and pro­duc­tion rate re­mains above tar­get. Cane trans­port and har­vest­ing had a good week in be­ing able to ramp up op­er­a­tions and main­tain cane sup­ply up to the mill. Aver­ace CCS was 11.74 (last week’s was 11.08 and the av­er­age to date is 10.91).
