Mossman Mill had its highest throughput for the year with 45,642 tonnes of cane processed for the week at an average crushing rate of 339 t/hr. Plant availability was affected during the week by milling train mechanical failures and some Boiler Station operational issues. Condensate in the clarification process control switchroom caused some processor failures that had to be changed out. The Evaporator Station performance also became rate limiting towards the end of the week as the next cleaning cycle approaches. Sugar quality and production rate remains above target. Cane transport and harvesting had a good week in being able to ramp up operations and maintain cane supply up to the mill. Averace CCS was 11.74 (last week’s was 11.08 and the average to date is 10.91).
