Mossman Mill processed 32,192 tonnes of cane for the week at an average crushing rate of 334 t/hr with plant availability on budget. Wet weather during the week initially resulted in a 10 hour stop but after further rain during the night the factory crushed out and shut down for a further 24 hours. This stop provided the opportunity to inspect the boilers and address any issues while offline. Sugar production rates and quality standards have remained high this week. The wet weather is also slowing the crop from maturing with little change in CCS and fibre week to week, both of which still remain well below budget at 11.81 and 14.88 respectively. CCS average to date is 11.00.
