Seconds narrowly lose to Dogs
THE seconds game was a seesawing event with Centrals out to an early lead at quarter time but the mighty Crocs soon settled and got back into the game and in front by 5 points at half time.
Kayne Freyling was his usual busy self in the centre, Jack Dickson was handy on his wing and was helped out with the Horsham trio in Heath McInnes, Ross McRae and James Wollermen and the Crocs led by the slenderest of margins being 1 point at the last break.
With a couple of undisciplined moments in the last saw Centrals kick the next 2 and hit the lead but the Crocs kept peppering the forward line only to turn the ball over on numerous occasions and when Michael Klein-Boonshate had kicked his 4th they were 5 points down only to kick a couple of more points and go down by 3 points.
It was a good game but we need to be on the winning side of these ones and see ourselves sitting in 3rd position and the possibility of missing out on the double chance.
Next week sees the seconds kick off the due at 11 against the Saints in a very important clash. Come to the match and cheered the lads on.
