REVERSING

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

Debbie the Soccer Mum has an alarming habit of reversing out of her driveway in the morning at full tilt, in the rush to get kiddies off to school. If she happens to be having a barney with them at the same time then concentration may lapse. Such as the other day when she was reversing out and was quite oblivious to urgent honkings from something directly in her path behind. It was the newspaper delivery bloke, scared out of his wits at the rapid onwards rush of Debbie’s new hitech motor, which has reversing cameras and sensors and everything, which she admits she sort of ignores, especially when telling the kids off. She became aware of the peril just in time and pulled up millimetres from his van. “He seemed really shaken up,” she said.
