A BREAK AT LAST

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

The season is over, well not over but there is a break. Staff have worked long hours and weekends, over many months and now can relax a little. One team went to Bali, where they had a great time, sampling restaurants and living it up. Another group Coconut heard of were really burning the candle at both ends and according to a facebook photo, the old blokes were not drinking beer but Grand Marnier…. If you have earned it, spend it. The only hiccup has been around a pair of thongs. The good lady had a pair of fashionable and semi-expensive thongs (as you do) and like many people was in the habit of taking them off at Four Mile Beach and leaving them at the gate while she strolled along the famous white strand. But, yes, you guessed it, the other day she returned from the walk and the thongs were . . . gone. How sad is human nature. Now she walks downcast, not just a tad miserable BUT KEENLY OBSERVING PEOPLE’S FEET!
