New president for Chamber
WADE Greasley has been appointed president of the Douglas Chamber of Commerce.
Solicitor Martin Tranter will serve again as vice president.
The treasurer role is being undertaken this year by Judee Crothers, an experienced bookkeeper.
This year sees Adam Barrell of Marino Lawyers accept the secretary position.
Top priorities for 2017 to build on the momentum of 2016, focusing on progress on the wi-fi issues in the Shire, further development of a customer service centred, service program for new staff, and promotion and delivery of the VIP Shopping Night’s.
The Chamber of Commerce is again running the Christmas Window Competition.
Judging for the Christmas display will take place on the VIP Shopping Night, December 15, at 6.30pm.
