Ride along Cape’s pris­tine beaches

THE only horse rid­ing avail­able in the Cape Tribulation area, we cater for be­gin­ners, in­ter­me­di­ate and ex­pe­ri­enced rid­ers on a group of very friendly and well-trained horses.

En­joy the breath­tak­ing Cape Tribulation scenery as you me­an­der your way through the old­est liv­ing rain­for­est in the world. Ride through crys­tal clear moun­tain streams, through pad­docks and along river beds un­til you reach the spec­tac­u­lar Cape Tribulation Beach. One of the few places in the world where you can stroll along the beach and ride along the ocean edge on horse­back, soak­ing up the at­mos­phere of the pris­tine beaches of Cape Tribulation.

Morn­ing, noon and af­ter­noon horse rides avail­able, departing at 8am and 11am from Cape Trib Beach House with pick-ups at all ma­jor Cape Trib re­sorts. Cost is $99pp (incl $5 in­sur­ance levy). The ride will take 1 ½ hours plus ac­com­mo­da­tion trans­fer time.

What will I need to bring? – Long pants prefer­ably and closed, se­cure footwear. Cam­eras OK. Self drivers – Carpark lo­cated on the left hand side of Cape Tribulation Rd, 500m af­ter Ma­son’s Store sig­nage, in the front pad­dock.

Max num­ber for the ride is 8 and min­i­mum is 2. You must be 5 years or older. No ex­pe­ri­ence is nec­es­sary. Max­i­mum weight is 102kg or 16 stone.
