Places set for Xmas Lunch

OR­GAN­IS­ERS of the Com­mu­nity Christ­mas Lunch are gear­ing up to feed a small army.

It’s the ninth year that the Moss­man Com­mu­nity Ser­vices have pro­vided a slap up lunch at Christ­mas.

Many or­gan­i­sa­tions do­nate food and time to the Lunch, which this year will cater to around 100 peo­ple. Dou­glas Shire Coun­cil also con­trib­utes.

“This year is the first year I’ve had a lot of peo­ple want­ing to book,” said Moss­man Com­mu­nity Ser­vices’ Jill Bradley. She asks that large groups in­tend­ing to come to please book, by call­ing 4098 2005, by noon, Fri­day, December 23.

The lunch on Christ­mas Day runs from 11 am – 1 pm, in the Moss­man Town Hall.
