Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - BUSINESS -

Tourism Port Douglas Daintree is looking for volunteers to greet cruise ship passengers as they arrive at the Reef Marina Port Douglas. We are looking for passionate locals to become part of the Port Douglas cruise ship passenger experience by sharing their love of our beautiful region and welcoming them with a smile and insider knowledge into what they can do in their short time in Port Douglas. Volunteers would be required to assist for approximately 1½ hours on a cruise ship day. We have four volunteers present for each visit and have a roster in place so everyone can share the load. Volunteers are provided with information, maps and visitor guides. The volunteers are a vital part of our cruise ship success, with many passengers rating Port Douglas as one of the best ports in the country. For more information please contact Mikala McDowall at Tourism Port Douglas Daintree on 4099 4588 or info@visitportdouglasdaintree.com
