Town and Country centre gives out Christmas cheer
In its second year running the Town and Country lucky shopper competition has rewarded Daintree resident Annette Anderson for her continued loyalty.
Ms Anderson won $100 worth of vouchers from each participating retailers based in the Town and Country Shopping Centre.
“It’s a surprise – it’s wonderful. I’ve never won anything in my life,” said Ms Anderson, who owns and operates Lync Haven in the Daintree and visits the Town and Country Shopping Centre every week.
“It’ll give us a chance to have a treat.”
Shoppers that spent over $30 in Jonal Jewellers, Prices Plus, Serendipity, Zabb Thai Cuisine and Live Life Chemist were put in the draw.
Manager of Town and Country Kim Copland said they ran the competition as a thank you to their loyal shoppers.
The winner’s name was drawn out of a barrel brimming with the names of Town and Country Shoppers by the staff of Live Life Pharmacy.
Mr Copland said that the competition was another huge success and that Town and Country hoped to run the competition again next year, with well over a thousand shoppers filling out their details to take part.
On behalf of Town and County Mr Copland would also like to wish all the patrons of the Shopping Centre and their families a Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2017.
