Moss­man laps up pool time

THE 2017 Moss­man State High School Swim­ming Car­ni­val was an out­stand­ing suc­cess.

Although all four houses fought hard to win, Yawu came out on top, with a re­sound­ing 577 points, while sec­ond place was Jal­bil on 493. Of course with any car­ni­val there are al­ways amaz­ing per­for­mances, and the fol­lowed stu­dents were awarded age cham­pi­ons.

The stu­dents had a great time, com­pet­ing in a house vs. house vol­ley­ball com­pe­ti­tion, and show­ing off their dance moves for ex­tra points.

The fun was had by all in­volved with the teach­ers able to let down their hair and even com­pete in the fi­nal event of the day, the Open Re­lay, which they com­fort­ably won, thanks to some out­stand­ing per­for­mances by Greg Cox, Ben Vikionko­rpi, An­drew Ryan and James Wall.

The Year 12s fin­ished the car­ni­val off with their cus­tom­ary fi­nal lap as they were cheered on by the rest of the school.
