THE Daintree should be ready for a good drenching in March if the start of the year was anything to go by. Noah Creek has 1296mm, and Mason’s Cafe at Cape Tribulation reported 1107mm. Mr Perry said the signs were good for a healthy wet season compared to seasons past. “The last 5 year average for Cow Bay in February was 739mm.” Mr Perry also measured 463.5mm of rainfall in January. “So we are off to a good start for the Wet Season and March is usually our wettest Month.”
