Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

Seriously, is there anything this man can’t do? Federal Member for Leichhardt, Warren Entsch, was in the papers over the weekend, adroitly handling a large python which had been found in a generator up in Daintree where the good member was meeting with others to dicuss the power issue. It’s the sort of thing that impresses Coconut a very great deal. And when, for example, the House of Representatives is brought to a standstill because of an invasion of snakes, all eyes will turn to the big man of the North, our one and only Warren, who doesn’t mess around. Of course his varied career – he’s had actual jobs in the real world, unlike so many lawyers, union researchers et al warming the benches in Parliament – includes wrangling various things, including crocodiles. Even today he keeps his hand in on his farm, though there he has been known to come off second best occasionally.
