Jullaten SS camps at Mungalli Falls

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - @SCHOOL -

YEAR 4/5/6 students from Jullaten School attended an active and enjoyable three-day camp at Mungalli Falls. Students loved the outdoor challenges of the landslide, obstacle course, flying fox, waterfall walks and ropes course.

We travelled by bus to Curtain Fig, Lake Eacham for a swim and Malanda Falls to learn about the local environment. Students learnt to paint and throw a boomerang, make damper and completed a scrapheap contest. We participated in a bush dance and glow worm viewing at night time.

Julatten State School teachers, Mrs Lovelock, Mrs Frazer and Miss Jennine presented camp awards to all students on the final day. The camp proved memorable for all the right reasons – perfect weather, fantastic food, fun activities, friendship and smiles for the entire time.
