In re­sponse to ‘Visa changes an is­sue for hos­pi­tal­ity’ (Gazette, April 27), 457s should be con­sid­ered a short- to medium-term op­tion – in the long term, the Gov­ern­ment wants to sup­port the em­ploy­ment of Aus­tralians.
