Coconut hugely enjoyed the Combined Pink Sport Day at the Croc Pit on Saturday. Reminded him of his own glory days for the Crocs as a mobile centre half forward before he embarked on 40 years of hammy trouble. At the big game on Saturday — and hats off to the Saints for being such good sports — Coconut learned of the wondrous generosity of the good Wade, who promised to donate 20 bucks for every goal the Crocs kicked. No doubt he was aware that this team is in the habit of getting a few goals. By halftime he already owed $300, neatly doubled by full-time. On top of that he bought a signed guernsey for a few more hundred at the halftime auctions. He was doing due diligence though. At halftime he took a pic of the scoreboard and again at the final siren. Horse had bolted by then of course. A big day, very generous of you good sir. the pink guernseys. On hearing the answer, the visitor promptly donated $40.
