Stripy sock sensation!
ONE of the biggest acts coming to Carnivale this year is for kids – the stripy-socked singing sensation Lah-Lah and her Big Live Band.
Lah-Lah and her band will be performing at the Wonderland Spiegeltent in Dixie Park on Sunday, May 28, part of the Fisherman’s Seafood Music Festival.
Lah-Lah introduces children and their families to the wonderful world of music and musical instruments.
A Lah-Lah show – 50 minutes of live music, singing, dancing and fun – is different from any other family concert. It’s not just full of singing and dancing and incredible live music played by some of Australia’s best musicians – it’s educational too.
Lah-Lah are celebrating the 2017 Sony Music release of their new album Having Fun with a national live concert tour featuring lots of the brand new tunes from the album including I Love Books, Number Jive and a funny twist on Old MacDonald Had a Band as well as jamming on their some of their favourite hits including Brush Your Teeth and Lola Loves to Dance.
Meet Mister Saxophone, Squeezy Sneezy the piano accordion, Tom Tom on drums, Buzz the Bandleader, Lola the Dancing Double Bass and the ever loveable Lah-Lah.
From TV shows on ABC KIDS, CBeebies, and the Seven Network to sell-out live concerts, Lah-Lah’s Big Live Band continue to delight audiences across Australia and always get the whole family up singing and dancing.
The Lah-Lah show is priced at $15 entry for all patrons aged 16 years and over or is included with a Fisherman’s Village Music Festival Pass.
Don’t miss the chance to meet everyone in the band after the show with a meet and greet with these leaders of preschool music education and their wonderful musical instruments.
