Important information has come to light on how much time a woman spends in her whole life searching for things in her handbag. Apparently it has been a mystery that needed solving so of course the nerds have done the hard yards and come up with a number – a combined 181 days of rummaging in the handbag. Coconut’s favourite rummaging act was witnessed regularly in the Big Smoke when cold, early morning commuters would wait for a bus, and when it arrived, a woman at the head of the queue would spend fruitless minutes searching in the hold-all for $5.40 despite having had 18 minutes to get it ready before the bus arrived. Occasionally Coconut has to carry Mrs Coconut’s bag in public, due to special circumstances, something that surely amounts to husband abuse.
