Port’s preppies have loads of fun

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - @SCHOOL -

THE Port Douglas State School Prep students have had a very busy time in their first 96 days at school. To celebrate their achievements over this first semester they enjoyed a Pizza Party on the last day of term two, and participated in the ‘Port’s Got Talent’ show singing a mix-up of songs from the Trolls movie.

Term Three will see our Preppies enjoying their first ever Sports Day, where they will be participating in running, long jump, high jump, hurdles, and relay races.

On Friday, 4 August, the Prep students and teachers will be “camping” overnight in the Prep classrooms as part of their celebration of achieving 100+ days of school and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day.

The aim of the activity is to celebrate who our children are, their strengths, and how they make our lives and world better.
