Reading warriors at Ju­lat­ten

JU­LAT­TEN State School cel­e­brated stu­dents’ reading im­prove­ment dur­ing last term with a Reading Warriors Pa­rade.

All stu­dents were re­warded with a war­rior belt, coloured ac­cord­ing to their reading achieve­ment. Reading Warriors were com­mended on their train­ing through­out the school term.

The Reading War­rior Pro­gram ac­knowl­edges the im­por­tance of reading and en­cour­ages stu­dents to set and at­tain per­sonal reading goals. Kade was pre­sented with the ul­ti­mate Black Belt for achiev­ing a reading age of 15, four years above his ac­tual age.

On the fi­nal day of term, stu­dents and staff dressed up for a Py­jama Party as a re­ward for a term of ded­i­cated learn­ing.

Staff cooked pan­cakes and stu­dents en­joyed par­tic­i­pat­ing in fun ac­tiv­i­ties. School re­sumes on the 10th July. Ju­lat­ten State School would like to wel­come all new fam­i­lies and en­rol­ments.
