Reading warriors at Julatten
JULATTEN State School celebrated students’ reading improvement during last term with a Reading Warriors Parade.
All students were rewarded with a warrior belt, coloured according to their reading achievement. Reading Warriors were commended on their training throughout the school term.
The Reading Warrior Program acknowledges the importance of reading and encourages students to set and attain personal reading goals. Kade was presented with the ultimate Black Belt for achieving a reading age of 15, four years above his actual age.
On the final day of term, students and staff dressed up for a Pyjama Party as a reward for a term of dedicated learning.
Staff cooked pancakes and students enjoyed participating in fun activities. School resumes on the 10th July. Julatten State School would like to welcome all new families and enrolments.
