Cane crush hits minor problems
MOSSMAN Mill plant availability and throughput were below budget for week 5.
The factory processed 33,643 tonnes of cane at an average crushing rate of 336 t/hr.
The major downtime was due to wet weather interruptions at the start of the week.
Inside the factory, milling train control issues led to nurmerous trips of the mills on high locad which also affected boiler stability with frequent high load swings.
The feeding station also contributed a high number of stops with a drive motor fault on the main carrier. CCS for the week was 12.16 and the total crushed so far is 116,698t.
