Moss­man Botanic Gar­den board ramps up mem­ber­ship

MOSS­MAN Botanic Gar­den is push­ing ahead with a mem­ber­ship drive, fol­low­ing the launch of its new web­site at the end of last month.

Re­becca Pearse (MBG project man­ager) and Sh­eryl Burchill (Kuku Yalanji) are em­ployed one day a week to work with the board to drive the mem­ber­ship strat­egy, as­sist with en­sur­ing rep­re­sen­ta­tion and ap­pro­pri­ate skills on the board, while de­vel­op­ing the busi­ness de­vel­op­ment strat­egy.

Since April, Sh­eryl and Re­becca have been con­sult­ing widely with their con­tacts and net­works within the com­mu­nity and or­gan­i­sa­tions.

Work­ing with the board they have pre­pared a new ‘tool­kit’ for the mem­ber­ship drive con­sist­ing of posters, fly­ers, brochures, and a more de­tailed book­let sum­maris­ing the project – as well as an amaz­ing ‘fly­through’ video.

The man­age­ment team will be run a stall at the Moss­man Show on Sun­day, July 23, and Mon­day, July 24, to pro­mote mem­ber­ship of MBG.
