Nathan Verri scores slew of prizes at pre­mier in­dus­try do

LO­CAL build­ing com­pany Nathan Verri Masters of De­sign and Build­ing has cleaned up at t this year’s Master Builders Far North Queens­land Hous­ing and Con­struc­tion Awards.

The 2017 Far North Queens­land House of the Year went to Nathan Verri who also took out the awards for Best Res­i­den­tial Swim­ming Pool, In­di­vid­ual Home $451,000$550,000 and In­di­vid­ual Home $1.26 mil­lion – $2 mil­lion.

Mar­ket­ing man­ager and wife Julie Verri said the com­pany was over­joyed to be recog­nised by Master Builder Awards Queens­land.

“It was ex­cit­ing be­cause it wasn’t just the build, he [Nathan Verri] ac­tu­ally de­signed the home that won home of the year,” she said.

“He’s feel­ing even more thrilled given that it was his whole project.

“We are re­ally ec­static to win ev­ery cat­e­gory that we were in and win­ning Home of the Year was ic­ing on the cake,” Mrs Verri said.

It was not just a re­flec­tion of Nathan and his team’s work but his re­la­tion­ship with his clients and their vi­sion.

“It’s a great ex­am­ple of how Nathan and his clients work to pro­duce some­thing to­gether and I think that’s spe­cial,” Mrs Verri said.

“He’s got a lot of pas­sion about his work and he makes sure he un­der­stands his clients’ brief, their needs and he also takes note of en­vi­ron­men­tal needs”.

The judges made spe­cial men­tion of the con­sis­tency of qual­ity fin­ishes through­out the con­tem­po­rary Strat­ford home.

The home, built for less than $550,000, is per­fectly sited to make the most of the FNQ cli­mate and fea­tures strik­ing in­dus­trial-style aes­thetic.
