Hotshots bring the heat
WINTER in the tropics is unusually hot with the Sydney Hotshots in town this Saturday.
Get ready for the ultimate girls night out as they bring a brand new show to the Clink Theatre for a one night only performance.
“Perfectly chiseled” male dancers have been recruited from all over the world and trained at Hotshots Headquarters for their new “Secret Fantasies” tour.
This latest production features all new choreography, dance routines, competitions, muscle demos classic cameos such as their “Hot as Hell Fireman”, the new show also uses music of all generes through the decades.
The Sydney Hotshots are renowned across the country for their high-powered dance routines, avant-garde lighting, state-of-the-art costumes and amusing touches of humour, making women across the nation continuously come back for more.
Dave Hughes, Hotshots MC and dancer, said he’s psyched to bring the new show to the ladies of Port.
“We are very excited to come to Port Douglas for two hours on non-stop fun,” he said.
“The girls can expect a Magic Mike vibe mixed in with our old school Hotshots formula that has entertained crowds for the last 20 years.
“We went a bit further with group routines and we updated a few things too, it’s a really fantastic show.
“For the new show we’ve got a professional break dancer from Spain which is very exciting.
“We’ve also got a guy who used to perform to the Dream Boys in the UK, he brings a new way to entertain the ladies with a James Bond theme,” he said.
The Hotshots have spent nearly 5 months on the road entertaining ladies from all over the country.
“It’s hard to be out on the road all the time, but we do get some free time and that allows us to enjoy the towns we are in,” Mr Hughes said.
“We always try and have fun at the show and we always come out and talk to the girls afterwards.
“Audience interaction is a big part of the show, we love getting the ladies on stage.
“Sometimes it gets a bit crazy though, one time I brought up a lady as part of my routine and she started taking her clothes off, it was a bit of a surprise”.
“I love performing, being on stage in front of an audience who wants to be entertained is amazing, I also like being able to travel to all these amazing places around the country, like Port Douglas,” he said.
