Mossman mill plant avail­abil­ity and through­put were above bud­get for Week 11. The fac­tory pro­cessed 46,146 tonnes of cane at an av­er­age crush­ing rate of 319 t/hr. The ma­jor is­sues for the week oc­curred around the pan stage with nu­mer­ous stops for high stock lev­els as the pan sta­tion strug­gled to main­tain seed pro­duc­tion and turn­around times. Other down time for the week was for the in­ter­car­rier chain idler shaft break­ing, shred­der tip in­spec­tion and re­pair, and failed boiler tube re­pairs late in the week. The CCS con­tin­ues to be on bud­get at 13.61 for the week. CCS av­er­age to date is 12.45. The 2017 crop es­ti­mate is 930,000 tonnes.
