Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

Driving down the Captain Cook Highway I noticed something that plagued my view.

A large pile of rubbish on the side of the road. Chip wrappers, cans and even toilet paper.

It’s incredibly disappointing to see our environment disrespected like that.

I can only assume people who parked there overnight are to blame for the mess and I’d like to see something done.

Our environment is so precious, people come from all over to look at what we have to offer.

But rubbish strewn all over isn’t a good look. Bins or signage would be an easy fix.
