DRIVE MUSIC

Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

The right driving music is dreadully important. Coconut always has a fistful of cassettes lined up when he goes for a burn in the Austin. But not so a 55year-old English woman who decided to tune her car radio to a classical FM station for the drive home, even though she was very tired and usually tuned into that station to help her go to sleep. So she went to sleep, swerved across a busy road and took out a street sign, and landed up in court getting an almighty slap from the judge. In court she blamed Radio 4. Madam, Coconut blames your lack of a handy road tape. Have you not heard of the Doobies’ China Grove, the Allmans’ Midnight Rider, Steppenwolf’s Magic Carpet Ride, or the Boss’s Born To Run?
