New re­search from the Univer­sity of Stir­ling in Scot­land has shown that hit­ting the foam roller be­fore your work­out makes ex­er­cise eas­ier. Vol­un­teers who used a foam roller prior to ex­er­cise for three days straight were able to per­form bet­ter leg ex­ten­sions than those who didn’t.
