THREE TO WATCH

Three more very young riders to remember, look out for, and then sound really clever about when they win something big in a few years' time

Procycling - - Prologue -

CORENTIN ERMENAULT

The 20-year-old French trackie is only the second non-British rider to join the Wiggins squad. The son of Philippe Ermenault, a team pursuit gold medallist at the 1996 Olympics, Corentin is the European individual pursuit champion.

AMUND GRØNDAHL JANSEN

The current Norwegian U23 champ is signed to LottoNL!Jumbo for the next two years. The 22-year-old won the U23 ZLM Tour, the Tour de Gironde and a stage of the Tour de l’Avenir. And where others wilted in the hot Doha sun, he rode to "ifth.

MAX WALSCHEID

Big things were expected of the Giant-Alpecin sprinter at the start of his neo-pro year but then he was one of the six riders hit head-on by a car in January. He’s recovered now and won "ive stages of the Tour of Hainan. Roll on 2017.
