MILLAR SAYS

Another long day and desperate sprint finish to look forward to. I lived in the Troyes region and rarely went east of the town. Why? Because there’s nothing out there for a climber except wide open spaces and wind. Though it might be a slight headwind all day it’ll still be a fast and furious stage as the mountains are looming. Historically interesting with Colombey-les-Deux-Églises and the De Gaulle connection but then the frantic fighting will really begin as position will be everything on the tricky run into town.
