MILLAR SAYS

The longest day of the 2017 Tour and it will seem it after surviving the previous two big GC stages. This is the last chance for many riders and teams to get something out of the race if they haven’t shone already. The first hour or so will be desperate stuff for those who need to get in the break that will in all likelihood go to the finish. The terrain is too hard for the sprinters’ teams to even start trying to control and the GC riders are thinking of the TT the next day, therefore it's going to be a day for a guts and courage rider.
