Fifty years of sweat­ing it out in rock con­certs de­serves some sort of medal, and Bob King’s re­mark­able ca­reer as a rock pho­tog­ra­pher is be­ing cel­e­brated in a hand­some new book. He sat down with Bruce Usher to re­late some of the high­lights – and low lights – of work­ing the stage. Long-time col­lab­o­ra­tor and friend, Glenn A. Baker, adds a few of his thoughts.

Well known in the photo in­dus­try, Bob King has been pho­tograph­ing rock con­certs and mu­si­cians for over 50 years. His re­mark­able ca­reer is cel­e­brated in a new book and, in this in­ter­view, he talks to Bruce Usher about how it all started and re­lates some of his many ex­pe­ri­ences along the way.
