I have many French cookbooks on my shelves and “oui oui oui”, I just had to add another to the collection.

Written by French cook and food blogger Cecile Delarue, The Everything Easy French Cookbook provides straight forward and easy to follow recipes for both the inexperienced and more seasoned cooks. Cecile shares classic and contemporary recipes from her family that are neither complex nor time consuming. It offers all that you would want to find on a French dining table, from breakfast to family-style dishes and even traditional meals to share. This book is not a coffee table browser or an overly fancy book, but rather, is straight to the point and ready to be used in the kitchen. It features 300 recipes with a selection of photos of dishes like Oeufs Cocotte, Salade Lyonnaise, Petits Sablés, Crème Brulée and Gratin Douphinois to mention a few.

I have tried a few of these recipes and they are truly easy to make and delicious. I love this book and it has become my “go to” cookbook for quick, easy and scrumptious meals. Definitely a must have in any kitchen!
