Hearty food is my favourite and tra­di­tional French coun­try fare is one of the things I love to cook. Mar­i­nate the meat the day be­fore and, with a few lit­tle twists in the prepa­ra­tion, this recipe will tan­talise your taste­buds. If you have any leftovers, you can freeze for later or add to a pas­try base and top with mash for a great French-inspired beef pie.
