Food and wine education is being transformed by the interest and desire of consumers everywhere. People who want to enjoy the bounty of specific regions and locales appreciate that pleasure taken in eating and drinking quality products is increased with the knowledge of where it comes from, who makes it and how it is made. Taking an interest in food has replaced taking food for granted.

In collaboration with Southern Cross University, legendary leader in gastronomy Le Cordon Bleu offers an exceptional entrée into the world of food and tourism education with its online Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism, a multidisciplinary program aimed at providing a holistic approach to gastronomic tourism.

With its strong emphasis on understanding gastronomic history and principles and various business skills, it’s “the quintessential lifestyle degree combining appealing flexibility for busy professionals with depth of interest for passionate foodies”, says Le Cordon Bleu program initiator Dr Roger Haden.

With its flourishing gastronomic tourism industry, Australia is uniquely placed to offer this program, which is attracting students from around the world.
